Police arrest one after finding package full of hashish

Local law enforcement last week arrested a man living on a boat in Apalachicola after they intercepted a package full of drugs addressed to the man. The Franklin County sheriff’s office arrested Michael Coolidge Shannon who was living on a boat at ten foot hole. Police were alerted to Mister Shannon after they intercepted a package addressed to him – the package contained over 123 grams of hashish. Police estimate the drugs are worth about 2000 dollars. After intercepting the package, police made a controlled delivery to the address and arrested Mister Shannon after he accepted the package; he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and taken to the Franklin County Jail. Officers say the case is still under investigation and they expect further charges and more arrests.
