Congressman Boyd finds money for Tallahassee VA

U.S. Congressman Allen Boyd says he has procured money to help provide medical services to military veterans. Boyd, who is a veteran of Vietnam, said he has been able to procure $13 million dollars to lease a Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Tallahassee. The money was approved by the House of Representatives on October 7th and the Senate on September 25th and now awaits signature by the President. The new Tallahassee outpatient clinic will be an expansion of the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. The new clinic will provide expanded primary care and mental health services for veterans, as well as a comprehensive array of specialty care services. Congressman Boyd said “This new state-of-the-art clinic in Tallahassee, combined with the new facility that recently opened in Marianna, ensures that our veterans will have better access to the healthcare they deserve.”
