The Apalachicola Shooting Range in the heart of the Apalachicola National Forest will be closed for repairs next week. The range is located next to Forest Road 305 – its open to people who want to shoot pistols and rifles. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission however says the range will be closed to the public November the 16th and 17th for needed repairs. In addition, the range is normally closed to public use the fourth Saturday of each month for hunter safety classes. This month the range will also be closed the third Saturday, November 21.
