More of the Apalachicola Bay was reopened to oyster harvesting this morning. The Florida Department of Agriculture reopened area 1642 at sunrise – that the conditionally approved winter east area that includes Cat Point. That means that as of this morning all of the winter oyster harvesting areas will be open for oyster harvesting.
