The Franklin County Commission will hold its first meeting of 2010 on Tuesday at the Courthouse Annex.
There is not a long agenda for tomorrow’s meeting – Eastpoint resident Joyce Timmons will speak to the board about elder services, and Steve Otwell from the University of Florida will update the county commission about Vibrio vulnificus issues.
Some of the other items for discussion include a resolution for a CDBG grant to raise the approaches to the Crooked River Bridge and a Historic Preservation grant to do some repairs at the Armory in Apalachicola. The county will also discuss ongoing work at the Apalachicola Airport.
The county commission meeting is open o the public – it begins at 9 AM at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex in Apalachicola.
