Franklin County seeks access to roads at 9 mile

The Franklin County Commission said it would like to get leases to use roads at 9 mile west of Apalachicola. The county said they would like the roads there open so the public can access the water. The commission said historically that 9 mile has provided people with good access to floundering and to oysters. The board said they feel that the property and roads belong to the St. Joe Company and they will approach St. Joe about providing public access.
