Highway Patrol to conduct saturation patrols in Franklin County tonight

There will be more Highway Patrol officers than usual on Franklin County roads tonight as state officers crack down on drunk driving.

The Florida Highway Patrol will hold saturation patrols, otherwise known as wolf packs, on Franklin County roads tonight.

They will be focusing on removing drunk drivers from the roads as well as educating the public about the dangers of impaired driving.

The saturation patrols will begin at 7:30 this evening and should end by 3 o’clock Saturday morning.

If you see someone driving erratically on local roads you can contact the Highway Patrol from your cell phone at star-FHP.
