Mainstreet Program Organizational Meeting Thursday Sept. 30  Please join your neighbors, friends and the business community for the first organizational meeting to establish a Florida Mainstreet Program for the City of Apalachicola. The meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. at the Apalachicola Community Center, 1 Bay Avenue, Apalachicola. The meeting is being hosted by Historic Apalachicola, Inc. a non-profit organization working with the City to implement the Florida Main Street Program in Apalachicola. The Florida Main Street Program is a volunteer-driven, locally envisioned, community based program developed to rejuvenate historic downtowns. Come find out first hand about how this program will protect the unique character and individual spirit of our community. Everyone is welcome, bring a friend or two!
