BP will hold a number of public forums across the Panhandle this month to answer questions about their ongoing activities in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon oil gusher.
Anyone can attend these meetings.
Topics to be covered include ongoing beach cleaning activities, seafood quality testing and impacts of the oil on wildlife and natural resources.
Representatives from BP, the United States Coast Guard, the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Fish & Wildlife, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Protection have been invited to attend and answer questions from the public.
The first hearing will be tonight in Gulf County.
It will be held at 6 PM at the Gulf County Courthouse in Port St. Joe.
A public forum will be held in Franklin County on Wednesday afternoon at 6 PM at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex in Apalachicola.
