BP to hold public forum in Apalachicola today
BP will hold a public forum in Franklin County today to answer questions about their ongoing activities in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon oil gusher.
Anyone can attend these meetings.
Topics to be covered include ongoing beach cleaning activities, seafood quality testing and impacts of the oil on wildlife and natural resources.
Representatives from BP, the United States Coast Guard, the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Fish & Wildlife, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Protection have been invited to attend and answer questions from the public.
The hearing will be tonight in Apalachicola.
It will be held at 6 PM at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex in Apalachicola.
