FWC to offer hunter education course in Franklin County on Saturday


The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will offer a free hunter safety Internet-completion course in Franklin County on Saturday.
The course will be at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If you want to take the course you first have to complete the Internet course before coming to class and should bring a copy of the final report from the online portion of the course. 
The final report form does not have to be notarized.
Students should bring a pencil and paper with them to take notes.
An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age at all times.
If you want to take the course you can register online at MyFWC.com/HunterSafety or call the FWC’s regional office in Panama City at 850-265-3676.
Anyone born on or after June 1, 1975, must complete the hunter safety course before they can purchase a Florida hunting license.
