Highway Patrol to set up inspection stops on Highway 65

The Florida Highway Patrol will be conducting driver license and vehicle inspection checkpoints in Franklin and Liberty Counties during the month of November.
The Highway patrol said it will hold the checkpoints on Highway 65 at various times through the month.
The checkpoints will allow troopers to look for vehicles with defective equipment, such as bad brakes, worn tires, and defective lighting.
Officers will also be checking drivers licenses to make sure that the licenses are up to date and haven’t been suspended or revoked.
The Highway patrol does not say when the checkpoints will be held.
