Work on the new urgent care clinic in Carrabelle is nearly complete and county officials are now planning a grand opening celebration in late January.
Construction of the 1.3 million dollar, 5000 square foot clinic began last June.
The project is being funded through a local 1 cent sales tax.
The county decided to build the clinic to provide enhanced medical services to the eastern end of the county.
The clinic will provide medical services, plus x-ray and lab services and urgent care for emergency cases.
The open house is scheduled to be held on January the 28th from 3 till 6 PM.
