The Wewahitchka Search and Rescue is selling space on its website to raise money to pay for its services.
Wewahitchka Search and Rescue is a non-profit organization. It is run by volunteers but relies on donations to fund its efforts.
The group was formed after a drowning in 1996 but has since expanded its efforts to include serving as a search team for the 14th Judicial Circuit Child Abduction Response Team.
It also operates a Commodity Program which serves over five hundred families in Gulf County and a program that provides clothing, shoes and toys to needy kids.
The group does need donations to keep in operation and are offering a one-year link to their website for a 100 dollar donation.
$150.00 gets your picture included with your link for 1 year.
People donating more will get even more information about their business on the website.
Even if your business doesn’t have a website, the group will post a picture and information about your business on their site for a 75 dollar donation.
If you would like to lern more, check out the group’s website at www.wewahitchkasearchandrescue.com or call them at 639-2605.
