As Chairman of the Sponsorship Committee for the 2010 America’s Great Paint-out, Florida’s Forgotten Coast Plein Air Invitational, I respectfully request your valuable participation in the 2011 spring event. The Great Paint-out, to be held May 13-22, 2011, combines the strengths of all the coastal communities from Mexico Beach to Alligator Point to produce the most collaborative and comprehensive event in the region.
The event began under the guidance and direction of Mr. Richard Carrell, a successful leader in the art community, who retired to Mexico Beach. Since the event began in 2006, each year has exceeded expectations in participation and sales. The success of the Plein Air events is directly related to the support from regional and local business leaders like yourself, over 200 devoted volunteers and the acclaimed artists who come from as far away as Maine and California.
It would be an honor to include your business as a 2011 Plein Air Patron or Sponsor. On behalf of the Plein Air Invitational Committee, I thank you for your time and consideration.
