"Peacemaker" parked in Port St. Joe

A150-foot sailing ship named “Peacemaker” will be parked in Port St. Joe this week.
The Peacemaker was built in southern Brazil on the designs of the classic sailing ships of the 1800's and first launched in 1989.
The main mast stands almost 130 feet above the waterline.
The ship belongs to a religious group known as The Twelve Tribes of the Commonwealth of Israel that believes in communal living, working, eating, schooling and worshipping.
They travel from port to port opening their ship to the public.
The ship will be docked in Port St. Joe until Sunday, and will be open every day from 10 am - 7 pm for FREE tours though donations will be accepted.
For large group tours you should call Captain Lee Phillips at 912-399-6946
