Carrabelle Riverfront festival this weekend

Carrabelle will hold its 21st annual Riverfront Festival this weekend.
The popular festival runs from 10 till 6 on Saturday and 10 till 4 on Sunday on Marine Street along the Carrabelle River.
This year the festival will be set up a little differently than in the past with local organizations overseeing different parts of the park.
Besides the arts and crafts and food sections, there will also be an area focused on local history and one focused on area wildlife.
There will be plenty of activities – there is a special area just for kids, plus you may want to bring your dog or iguana with you on Saturday for the pet parade.
There will be a fishy fashion show at 2 on Saturday and the procession of the species at 1.
There will also be boat tours of the Carrabelle River throughout the weekend plus there will be a Florida Panther, an Asian Leopard and a bobcat on display throughout the weekend.
Live music this year includes the Blue Chameleon Band on Saturday and the Forgotten Coast Band on Sunday.
The festival will end with a country gospel concert on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 starring George Arthur at the city’s new Water Plant Stage.
Admission is free so make sure to come out to Marine Street this weekend.
