On April 30, 2011 the Franklin County Sheriff's Office will be participating in the Prescription Drug Take Back Program sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA). This national take-back program will provide a unified opportunity for the public to voluntarily surrender expired, unwanted, or unused prescription medication to law enforcement officers for destruction. Collection activities are scheduled from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. at the following drive thru sites:
Apalachicola City Hall (Battery Park)
Vrooman Park (6th Street, Eastpoint)
Carrabelle City Hall (1001 Gray Ave)
