Humane Society begins spay/neuter voucher program

The Franklin County Humane Society is moving in to the next phase of its new spay/neuter voucher program.

The group has been raising funds for the program over the past few months and now has enough money to launch the program.

The spay/neuter voucher program provides money to have your pets spayed or neutered if you can’t afford to have it done yourself.

A monthly drawing will be held at the beginning of each month beginning May 1st and the winners will be contacted and arrangements made.

Applications for the program are now available at the Franklin County Humane Society Adoption Center on Highway 65, as well as the Apalachicola Bay Animal Clinic in Eastpoint.
