If you plan to drive over the Memorial Day holiday make sure to buckle up.
The Florida Highway Patrol along with law enforcement groups from around the state and nation for the 2011 Click It or Ticket safety belt enforcement.
The enforcement began Monday and will continue through June the 5th.
Florida law requires all drivers and occupants in the front seat of a vehicle to fasten their safety belt.
Occupants under the age of 18, regardless of where they sit in a vehicle, also have to buckle up.
Tickets for not buckling up carries a $30 base fine, plus court costs if convicted.
