Franklin County Commission will meet Tuesday morning

The Franklin County commission will meet on Tuesday morning in Apalachicola.

There’s not a lot on the agenda, but the board will open bids from people interested in leasing the historic Chapman building in Apalachicola.

The board opened the use of the building to bids last month after local cardiologist Dr. Shezzad Sanaullah sought permission to move his practice there.

Also on Tuesday the board will consider a resolution to condemn some land at Alligator Point and the board will consider some building issues brought before the board of adjustment this month.

County commission meetings are open to the public so if you would like to come to tomorrow’s meeting it will begin at 9 Tuesday morning at the courthouse annex in Apalachicola.
