Wakulla County investigates dog carcasses near Ochlocknee Bay

The Wakulla County sheriff’s department is investigating 4 dog carcasses found near Ochlocknee Bay that were likely beaten to death.
The dog carcasses were found on Monday at a remote location off Shadowmoon Court in the Ochlockonee Bay community by a family who were using four wheelers in the area.
Investigators said the dogs were killed by being beaten on the head.
They believe the dogs were dumped at the scene which is near the Wakulla County Airport and the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge property.
