County commissioners signed an agreement last week that could lead to solar panels being installed on some county buildings.
The contract will allow a company called Allied Energy Global out of Cape Coral to inspect a number of county owned buildings to see if solar panels can be installed on them.
Inspections will be done on the courthouse, the sheriff’s office, Weems memorial Hospital and even the armory.
The armory, however, may be ineligible because it’s a historic structure.
The inspections will be done on September the 5th.
