County Commissioners seek members for Planning and Zoning Commission

 

County commissioners are looking for residents who would like to serve on the county’s planning and zoning commission.

At least 5 members of the 9 member board have to attend a meeting to make a quorum but that number has not been reached for the past two meetings.

Alan Pierce said many of the current members have scheduling conflicts and 5 members and alternates need to be replaced.

Cheryl Sanders said the appointments need to made as quickly as possible because the lack of P and Z meetings is keeping local builders from going to work.
