We invite you to join us at the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve for our Green Living Day Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The day will feature exhibits on green products from local suppliers, energy conservation, solid waste reduction and recycling, eco-friendly and green home practices, sustainable landscaping and more. This event is for residents to learn about practical ways they can “green” their lifestyles and homes. See the attached flyer for more details and the map for directions.
This event is free and open to the public, although RSVPs to Matthew.r.anderson@dep.state. fl.us or (850) 670-7702 are requested so we have an idea of how many to plan for.
Please post the attached flyer and pass on to others who may be interested.
If you have a business or program that relates to green products from local suppliers, energy conservation, solid waste reduction and recycling, eco-friendly and green home practices, sustainable landscaping; and would like to set up a display table or presentation for this event, please contact me before August 31 at 850-670-7708, 850-445-9567 or Rosalyn.kilcollins@dep.state. fl.us.
