Pilings removed near Bryant Patton Bridge

Chipley – Work to remove piles located north and south of the causeway east of the Bryant Patton Bridge, over Apalachicola Bay begins Monday, August 8, 2011.  There will be no traffic delays on the bridge; all work will take place from a barge in the Bay.  Weather permitting, the contractor has 100 days to complete the $355,117.90 project.

Vessel operators are reminded to use caution and obey the posted speed limit when traveling through the work zone.
