  • The Gulf Shores City Hall in Gulf Shores, Sept. 1, 2011, at 9 a. m.;
  • The Escambia County Emergency Operation Center in Pensacola, Fla., Sept. 8, 2011, at 1 p.m.;

 "We're updating our coastal zone pollution response plans, and want to hear from those who live and work here about what should be changed or updated," said Capt. The Coast Guard will field questions concerning the area contingency plan. Anyone interested is invited to attend. Media interested in attending should contact Lt. j.g. Ashley Vryheid at 251-441-6522.
