Sacred Heart opens new Women's Health center

Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf has opened a new Women’s Health Center in the hospital’s Medical Office Building in Port St. Joe.

The Women’s Center is a joint effort between the Gulf County Health Department and Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf. 

The facility began providing select services on November 7th. 

The center will provide mammography services as well as bone density testing and ultrasound testing.           

The facility includes a state-of-the-art Selenia Digital Mammography device as well as DEXA bone density testing to detect osteoporosis.

the new Women’s Center also has a nurse navigator to answer questions, review the risk factors for breast cancer and offer guidance to patients.
