You know you live in a rural area when the big problem at
the local airport is wild hogs and coyotes.
The airport says it has been having a problem with the
animals – they’ve even had to bring dogs out to run the animals off, but that’s
not a long-term solution.
Last week the county commission agreed to allow two men to
trap the animals on airport property.
The board agreed to allow Richard Duncan and Leon Latham to
do the trapping.
The animals have to be trapped because it’s illegal to shoot
on airport property.
The two men have 30 days to get rid of the coyotes and pigs.
