Governor Scott names new members to the Alligator Point Water Resources District


Governor Rick Scott has appointed two new members to the Alligator Point Water Resources Board.

 The Governor’s office announced on Tuesday that is has named Emmett “Bucky” Mitchell IV and Harry “Chip” Morrison to the Board.
Bucky Mitchell lives in Tallahassee and is an attorney with the Coates Law Firm.
He succeeds Rand Edelstein and was appointed for a term that will end in June of 2015.
Chip Morrison also lives in Tallahassee.
he is the general counsel for the Florida League of Cities Inc. He succeand replaces Thomas VanderPlaats.
His term will end in June of 2013.
The Alligator point Water Resources Board oversees operations of the Alligator Point Water District, and sets rates for water users.

All members of the three member board are named by the governor.
