Florida Attorney
General Pam Bondi is asking the public for suggestions on how best to distribute
nearly $300 million dollars the state is getting as part of a 25 billion dollar
settlement mortgage servicers.
In February 2012, Florida
The court-approved settlement calls for the
Attorney General to direct approximately $300 million in consumer relief for purposes intended
to avoid preventable foreclosures, to lessen the effects of the foreclosure
crisis, and to enhance law enforcement efforts against financial fraud.
The settlement agreement lists permissible uses
of the settlement funds, including: housing counselors, state and local foreclosure assistance hotlines,
state and local foreclosure mediation programs, legal assistance, housing
remediation and anti-blight projects.
The money can also be used for training and
staffing of financial fraud or consumer protection enforcement efforts.

We should take the Money and help the people that are unemployed or under employed and train them so they can find better jobs or open there own buissness so they can hire other people lets face it employers don't want to hire anybody over 40 years old also we make a boys club so we can have are children out of the streets and gangs the rest should go back to the tax payers and people who lost there homes because of Banks
