The Franklin county
Commission will meet tomorrow
morning.
The board rescheduled its first meeting of the month because
two members won’t be able to attend on the regular date.
The board doesn’t have a long agenda, but it could still be
a lengthy meeting because next year’s budget will be a big topic of
conversation.
During a recent budget workshop the board left the millage a
bit higher than this year’s but commissioners do plan to try to trim the budget
back.
On Wednesday the board will also get an update from Curt
Blair about the Tourist Development Council, and an update about the hospital
from Miss Cindy Drapel.
Commissioners will also consider recommendations from the
most recent board of adjustment meeting.
The county Commission
meeting is open to the public – if you would like to attend Wednesday’s meeting
it begins at 9 AM at the Franklin
county Courthouse
Annex in Apalachicola .
