County commissioners name two new members to P and Z

County commissioners last week may have found the last three members they need to serve on the county’s planning and zoning commission.

The planning and zoning board has nine members, five of who have to attend a meeting for there to be a quorum.

Recently there have a number of resignations from the board so over the past few months the county commission has been seeking new members.

The board last week named two new members to the board; they include Paul Rigelmeyer and Bill Lane.

The naming of a third candidate, Chester Reese of Carrabelle, was tabled while the board investigates whether he can serve on two public boards at once.
