Results from last weekends Kingfish Shootout in Carrabelle

Winner of the 1st place was Team Reel Smoker out of Panacea with a 48.5 lb
Kingfish, Boat Captain: Blake Gardner.
2nd place winner "Bud K" the fish weighted 38.5 lbs. and it was caught on
Sunday.  The other fish (35.9) was caught by them on Saturday.

The top 10 largest fish took home $15,600.  The Shootout raised $35,000 for
the Leukemia Research Foundation, totaling over $667,000 for the past 9
years.
Most unusual catch of the Shootout was a 70 inch sailfish caught by Capt.
Max Lawhon,in 68 foot of water, Team "Yes Dear", fishing with Millard
Collins' boat "Smooth Drag"
