Port St. Joe man killed in accident on I-10

A port St. Joe man was killed Thursday in a two vehicle accident on I-10 in Walton county.

82 year old John Aguras died just after noon Thursday after hitting another car on the interstate.

The Highway Patrol said Mister Aguras was heading east on I-10 in the left lane when for unknown reasons he drifted into the right lane right into the path of another eastbound vehicle.

Mister Agura’s buick spun off the roadway onto the south shoulder of the road and then hit a tree.

Mister Aguras was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, Orion McDaniel of Panama City, was uninjured.
