Tallahassee woman charged with stealing credit cards in Franklin County


Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a 30-year-old Tallahassee woman on Monday in connection with the October 7th theft and fraudulent use of credit cards stolen from a Crawfordville victim in Franklin County.
Elizabeth Lauren Watts faces 10 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, four counts of forgery and one count of grand theft.
She is incarcerated in the Wakulla County Jail under an $11,500 bond.
Miss Watts is accused of stealing a purse, identification and credit cards from a vehicle at Alligator Point.
The purse belonged to a Wakulla County woman.
The victim’s credit cards were used 10 times in Sopchoppy and Crawfordville for a total of $922.
Miss Watts was caught on video surveillance at a number of the businesses – officials were also able to identify her car.
On Monday, Wakulla county sheriff’s officers made contact with Watts at a location in Panacea.

During the contact, they found some of the items that were purchased at one of the Crawfordville merchants.

Watts was arrested without incident.

Charges against Watts are also pending in Franklin County
