Credit
Union Spokesman Richard Quackenbush told county commissioners this week that
the financial institution will soon be open in Eastpoint.
Emerald
Coast has leased the old Gulf State Bank building which most recently housed
Forgotten Coast TV.
He
said the tentative opening date is November the 5th.
The
Credit Union will be open to anyone who lives in Franklin or Gulf counties or in Mexico beach.
This
will be the third branch for the Credit Unison which also has offices in Port
St. Joe and Wewahitchka.
Mister
Quackenbush said the office will have two employees when it opens but expects
to hire more as its business expands.
