Enrollment for pre-paid college program ends Thursday

Open enrollment for the Florida Prepaid College Plans ends on Thursday.

The program provides 4 plans that let you pre-pay for your child’s college education.

The various plans can cover the costs of tuition, local fee and dormitory housing at Florida’s 11 public universities and 28 state colleges.

The plan’s value is also transferable to most accredited private and out-of-state colleges.

A prepaid college savings plan can be purchased for children and grandchildren as soon as they are born and up until the 11th grade.
