17th annual chef's sampler this Sunday at the Armory

The 17^th Annual Forgotten Coast Chefs Sampler will be held on Sunday at the Fort Coombs Armory in Apalachicola.

The event is a fundraiser for the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Attendees will be able to sample creative dishes from some of the best chefs in the area.

14 restaurants and the culinary program at the Franklin County School will be providing dishes.

Special guest chef this year is Joe Rego, chef at The Front Porch in Tallahassee’s midtown, who was named “Chopped Champion” on the Food Network show, Chopped.

Local designers and artists will decorate each table at the event and there will be a silent auction benefiting small business programming at the Chamber.

Tickets are $50.
