The
issue started in December as a way for the commission to see if it could save
money on its legal bills, but over the past weeks has deteriorated into claims
of threats to commissioners and arguments over how meetings should be run.
The
board has tabled the issue for the past two meetings after discussion became
heated.
On
Tuesday, the board will try again to decide whether to keep the current
attorney or choose from the 4 others who have put in bids.
The
commission on Tuesday will also open bids for electronic health records at Weems Memorial Hospital in Apalachicola and open qualifications
from people interested in serving as economic planner for the county.
The
full agenda is posted on the oyster radio news page.
If
you plan to attend the meeting it will begin at 9 AM at the Franklin County courthouse Annex in Apalachicola .
