Port St. Joe man killed in single vehicle accident east of Eastpoint

A Port St. Joe man was killed in a single vehicle accident between Eastpoint and Carrabelle early Tuesday morning.

40 year old Christopher Lamar Anderson died after losing control of his 2006 Saturn and hitting a large tree.

According to the highway patrol, Mister Anderson was eastbound about a mile east of Sea Spray Lane when he traveled on to the south shoulder of the road.

The vehicle then went across both lanes of the highway and across the north shoulder of the road before hitting a tree.

Mister Anderson was not wearing a seatbelt.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
