Prebble-Rish chosen to design Alligator Point bike path

Franklin County commissioners on Tuesday selected the Prebble Rish engineering firm out of Port St. Joe to design a new multi-use path in Alligator Point.

Prebble Rish was one of three companies to provide qualifications for the 122 thousand dollar design project which is being funded through the Department of Transportation.

The proposed path would reach from Alligator Point Marina to Gulf Shore Boulevard.

It will still be a number of years before money is available to actually build the path.
