Nabors named road camp supervisor

County commissioners last week hired Howard Nabors as the new county supervisor of Public Works.

Mister Nabors is a long time employee with the Road camp, he’s been working for the county for 26 years.

Nabors was one of two people to apply for the job; Mosquito control supervisor Dewitt Polous also applied.

Mister Nabors replaces long time supervisor Hubert Chipman who retired from the position in May.
