The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is temporarily closing the shellfish area #1662
The
closure is due to heavy rainfall and an increase in river levels.
The
Department of Agriculture hopes to take water samples from both locations on
Monday and reopen the areas as soon as conditions allow.
