Public invited to e-mail comments to enter into congressional record

            There is still an opportunity to enter comments into the public record from Tuesday’s US Senate Committee hearing in Apalachicola.

The hearing focused on freshwater flows into the Apalachicola River and Bay but only a limited number of groups were able to speak at the hearing.

But for the next 10 days, public comment can be submitted by e-mail.

As long as the e-mail is received by August the 23rd your comments will be included as an official part of the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation hearing record.

So if you would like address how the lack of fresh water flowing down river has negatively impacted your business and our community’s economy – you should make your concerns known.
