Carrabelle to hold its annual Christmas boat parade on Saturday

Carrabelle will celebrate the holidays on Saturday with its annual Holiday on the Harbor and Christmas boat parade.

The event will kick off at 5 o’clock Saturday along Marine Street in Carrabelle when the street will be lit with Christmas lights and vendors will sell food and Christmas gifts.

The shops in Carrabelle will also stay open late.

Santa will be at the Pavilion on Marine Street from 5 till 7 and there will be live music by the professional bluegrass, country, gospel group “swiftwater.”

The boat parade will start at 7 PM – the boats will all be decked out in beautiful Christmas lights.

The boat parade will end with a big fireworks show and then awards will be handed out at C-Quarters marina where Debi Jordan will also perform live music.

The event is very family friendly, so make sure to bring the kids, and maybe a video camera for the parade.
