Apalachicola Riverkeeper  It's time for the 2014 Members' Meeting DATE:          Saturday, March 15, 2014 TIME:           4:00-7:00 PM (EST) LOCATION:   The Robert Lindsley Studio Gallery                    15 Avenue E, Apalachicola               Along with a brief business meeting, our annual meeting is a time for our members to meet others working to protect Apalachicola River and Bay and to hear the latest on this treasured natural resource from Dan Tonsmeire, Apalachicola Riverkeeper.   Please bring a favorite potluck dinner dish to share.* Drinks & Oysters provided. This year, we have a special guest speaker - Gordon Rogers, Flint Riverkeeper. The timing and quantity of flow to the Apalachicola River and Bay depend on flow from both the Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers upstream.  Gordon's insightful presentation will shed light on the interconnections between the Apalachicola and Flint Rivers, and the importance of these rivers to the health and productivity of theApalachicola Bay. Bring your checkbooks and be ready to bid on silent auction items donated to benefit Apalachicola Riverkeeper! We'd welcome more items to showcase, so if you would like to donate an item, please contact us. Donations are tax-deductible.  There were many creative gifts donated last year including original artwork, adventure trips, gourmet food, jewelry and more!
