One of the monitoring wells showed a higher than allowed levels of benzene, sodium, arsenic, boron and chloride.
Solid waste director Fonda Davis said the situation will not require any additional wells or even increased sampling, but it will require a site evaluation report submitted to the Department of environmental Protection by August the 11th.
The landfill will hire a company called Trinity Analysis & Development Corporation to provide that report at a cost of 9600 dollars.
