Paving Work Resumes on
State Road 30A in Gulf County
Chipley- Construction crews will resume paving work on State Road (S.R.) 30A in Gulf County the week of March 24. The nearly seven-mile section of S.R. 30A between U.S. 98 and S.R. 30E (Cape San Blas Road) is the focus of a $13.2 million construction effort to resurface the roadway, widen travel lanes, add paved shoulders and improve drainage.
Drivers will encounter daytime lane closures during the paving work. Flagmen and leader-trucks will be used to direct traffic during lane closures. Final completion of the project is scheduled for summer 2014.
All planned activities are weather dependent and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. For more information, follow the Florida Department of Transportation District Three on Twitter @myfdot_nwfl.
