Roberts and Roberts selected for Alligator Point revetment removal

Franklin County commissioners Tuesday chose Roberts and Roberts out of Panama city to remove an old revetment from Alligator Point.

The revetment is in front of South Shoal – the road that used to run along that area has been moved inland so that is safer during severe weather.

The County is required to remove the debris since there is no longer a road there to protect.

The project will cost a little under 96 thousand dollars to complete.

The work should begin in the next 30 days.
